A Letter From Our Senior Pastor

Revive Church Family,

My goal as your senior pastor is to keep us safe and informed while allowing us to maintain the

best quality of life possible. Follow the bullet points below so you will be educated and not fall into

panic or fear, but continue to walk in wisdom and faith.

1. Get Ready! Expect thousands of new cases of the virus. Why? It will appear that suddenly more people have been infected, but actually, more people have been tested who already had it and didn’t know it. This is good. Now we know who and where they are. There may be an increase, but don’t let the numbers alone scare you. It may just be an increase in proper testing.

2. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Keep your fingers out of your nose, mouth, and eyes. Let’s slow down on the hugging and handshaking.

3. The COVID-19 is dangerous for older adults and those with preexisting conditions, particularly lung conditions. Let’s watch out for those who might need extra help from us. See if they need help getting groceries or something else.

4. Pray to slow this virus down. Pray for our economy. Pray for our medical professionals, scientists, and politicians. This is an excellent time for people of faith to speak their faith and trust in God.

There is a lot we don’t know. But we trust God in the midst of all of this. We believe that He will cover our families, our church, our city, and our nation.

God is our refuge, and our strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way,

Though the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

Though its waters roar and foam.

The Lord, our God, is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
